Our serene chapel and facilities are designed to honour your loved ones by providing a welcoming environment for reflection and remembrance. Whether you’re visiting for a cremation, natural burial or returning to remember a loved one, Lake View Bereavement Centre is a special place, where comfort can be found in the gentle embrace of nature.

With its wall to ceiling windows overlooking the beautiful lake, the chapel provides a calm, welcoming space.
Saying goodbye
Our chapel is the perfect place to say goodbye to a loved one, whether you are holding a cremation, a natural burial or a memorial service. Each service is led with care and sensitivity and is tailored to reflect individual wishes, beliefs and traditions.
To help you say goodbye without feeling rushed or disturbed, we ensure only one service takes place at a time, with each service lasting an hour, giving every family the dedicated time and space they need.
Following the service, families are welcome to spend time by the water, walk through the meadow or gather in Snowdrop Lodge, a peaceful space to come together, share memories and find comfort.

Tailored to your needs
Our chapel seats up to 122 people in its usual arrangement. It can also be extended to cater for up to 136, or made smaller. We have a 12 seater chapel available for more intimate gatherings. All areas are fully accessible.
Personalising a service
Our chapel is equipped with the latest digital technology to support personalised tributes including music, photography and family supplied video.
Services can be live streamed and recorded for those unable to attend in person.
After the service
Following the service, families are welcome to spend time by the water, walk through the meadow or gather in Snowdrop Lodge, a peaceful space to come together, share memories and find comfort.

Family
Room
Our Family Room provides a quiet, comfortable space to pause, reflect and take a moment away from the surroundings of the day.
It also provides a private setting for meeting with our team to discuss and arrange the details of a service.
Snowdrop Lodge
Just a short walk from the chapel is Snowdrop Lodge, a calm, private space overlooking the lake, where families can hold a wake, share memories, and find comfort in one another’s company.
The lodge is fully accessible and can accommodate up to 80 people. With its impressive decking area overlooking the lake, it can be used to accommodate even larger gatherings, and is advisable to book in advance.
